Organizations and volunteers joined forces on Sunday morning to clean up a stretch of Gravois Avenue from Grand Boulevard to Gustine Avenue.
The St. Louis Coalition to Protect Cyclists and Pedestrians, along with the STL Cleanup Crew, teamed up to organize the event.
The event was open to the public to participate.
Bags, pickers, gloves, safety gear and other items were provided for volunteers.
Organizers say there were more than 50 volunteers.
