Be Vigilant and Safe
We want to clean up in Saint Louis not just at our events but you can do your own guerrilla clean ups at any time. Form your own trash bandit groups at home with your family and friends! Go clean up your street, local park, or anywhere you see trash. When you, do keep in mind these universal tips:
- Do not grab any type of debris piles with your hands whether its trash or leaves/vegetation. We never know what's hidden inside piles of trash in unfamiliar places.
- Know your surroundings - watch for cars, know where you are in the spaces around you. If you feel like it's a bad idea, don't.
- Wear safety equipment. Guerrilla cleanups are awesome! But you should always wear full coverage clothes and PPE to keep you safe.
